My life right now ... I am approaching my 80th birthday and am happy with the life I've lived with its ups and downs. My father was born in Slovakia and so we're my maternal grandparents, so I grew up hearing adults speak Slovak. That language is lost now. I grew up in a good suburb and went on from high school to Albany State. In coming years l married, taught high school English and raised a son and daughter, now a lawyer and university professor so we have come far from the Austro-Hungarian Empire my father and grandparents lived in. Retired and living alone, I enjoy reading, painting, watching movies and pbs, as well as spending time with my family and friends. I also attend church weekly and make donations to it as well as several charities.Covid requires some careful socializing, but life is good.
