To me, work means…
To me, work means ... Dance as though SOMEONE is watching! A step on hold, but only for so long; as I dance to my own music or the students on camera. LIVE or virtual, I dance my way through difficult times: pandemic (!) or grief at the loss of my husband of thirty years. It's the curse of Fred Astaire, "Sensational but isolated, I dance on!" From the roots of my maternal grandmother, a Hungarian folk dancer immigrant who fled the pogoms in 1904, to the love of the American dance, Tap, I am now reaching out to those young children who need a joyous, happy time. With a new program of movement and dance, theater and music, I plan on opening new stages for their development in the arts. May they live the best and happiest of days now, so they may venture out into new lives filled with love.
