I took a risk when…
I took a risk when joining the Navy. Leaving hometown I never imagined how it would change my life. I ended up being a Corpsman, a nurse. I couldn't stand the sight of blood but as an 18 year old, I was told many reserves, mostly women were at school. I thought what better place to be, especially since I was in bootcamp for over 15 weeks. M y career as a nurse would start. I grew up in Bethlehem PA and ended up in South Philadelphia at the Naval Hospital. After my service I became a nurse for the veterans administration. I was lucky to meet a great woman who is now my wife. After my VA service, I remained in Philadelphia. I was also an actor when I was a smaller child and ended up joining the Screen Actors Guild. I always believed in myself and God, who brought me through many trials. 2 live is 2 risk!
