I was raised to believe ... in the strength of my faith. I was raised to believe in prayer and trust. I was raised to believe in God. My parents, from the day I was born, have instilled in me the importance of having faith, no matter what it be. I identify as a Roman Catholic Christian, but my beliefs go beyond that. I was raised to treat everyone equally, to treat everyone as I would want them to treat me. I was raised to believe in love. My family plays a huge role in my life, and always has. I was enrolled in Catholic school until I left for college so it was all that I knew. But still, I was raised to have my own faith, my own beliefs, my own opinions. Being part of a family with almost 75 people, I am constantly surrounded by support and love, and faith. I was raised to trust, hope, and love beyond myself.
