My life right now is the life I never imagined having. For starters, Covid really changed everything I thought my life was and in a way it made me more mature. Being a Salvadorian woman's only daughter, my dreams and life are also her's. All my expectations of life started to change once I was transitioning from childhood to young adult. I realized life isn't all pretty. School seems harder to keep track on and work seems to never be enough for the bare necessities you need. The responsibilities of the oldest, a sister, a student, a child of an immigrant is for sure not easy but it brings you the most valuable skills you need in any type of life. The life I have now defines who I am because it shows me at my lowest, even though I am still destined to find out what my future life would be at my highest.
