My American story started when a moment of laughter from a late night comedy show stopped me from killing myself one night.
I found hope at that moment.
I decided I'd get on that show and share my story and help others find hope too.
Each day I'd go out and meet strangers, tell them my story, and have them guide me to the goal.
I thought people would sign their names on giant foam poster boards to confirm I'd spoken with them, and give their support for all my efforts.
But something unexpected happened. These 31,753 strangers I've met one by one have shared their stories in 94 languages with me on 489 giant boards.
I've done this for eight hours each day for 1,551 consecutive days. I will keep going until we get this massive collective story of hope to the show.
