What keeps me up at night is…
What keeps me up at night isthe well-being of my parents, and my ability to take care of them. We current live with my father-in-law, who is an 86 year old Korean War veteran, who can no longer walk, and my mother-in-law recently passed away. My mother is 72 years old - diabetic, on a barrage of medications, 30% use of her heart, congestive heart failure, and a very limited income. I live 45 minutes from her, so it’s a constant struggle to balance the time between helping them and keeping up with the daily obligations of life in general. However, I’m so grateful to still have them here with me. They gave me and my wife life - the very least we can do is try to give back as much as we can.
