The tradition I carry on is loving my neighbor. A lot of people have a lot of different reactions when they see a pastor or think about church. A lot of folks have been hurt. In the midst of this pandemic there's an opportunity for people like me to remind all of us that, no matter what you believe, we can all Love our Neighbors. That's a tradition more ancient than any religion. My job is to remind people that they are good and loved, and that they have goodness and love to offer the world. I think that's how we all heal together, by realizing that the common good and the individual good are the same Good.
