My parent(s) wanted me to…
My parent(s) wanted me to go on with my education and become someone special. Something I was always scared of because it was something that unfamiliar to me. I decided to let go of my fears and go on with my education. Four years later, and I am now a first-generation college student who graduated this May 2020, with not one but two degrees. I now have a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor's of Science in Philosophy and will be going on to obtain a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I would like to thank my family for all the love and support you have given me. Thank you for believing in me and allowing me to dream big. We all have big dreams, but it's your support system that helps you achieve them.
