THE KENNEDY CENTER PRESENTS: A CONCERT FOR AMERICA

This special Kennedy Center Millennium Stage performance was recorded on September 24th to benefit the United Way September 11th Fund, a long-term relief effort to help Americans who have directly suffered from last week's terrorist attacks. (Find out how you can contribute to the fund.)

Dozens of performers volunteered their talents to celebrate and pay tribute to the indomitable spirit of our country on this emotional and moving evening. The audience for the performance, which was introduced by First Lady Laura Bush, included survivors and families of the victims from the Pentagon terrorist attack on September 11th.
