We're excited to share that Peanuts fans will have even more ways to watch Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang discover the true meaning of Christmas this year. We've teamed up with Apple for a special, ad-free broadcast of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on December 13. This program will not be available for streaming on the PBS App, but here is how you can watch:
If you watch your local PBS station through one of your local cable companies (or YouTube TV), you are all set. Just tune in on December 13 (check your local listings in the schedule widget to confirm the time.) Likewise, if you get PBS over the air with an antenna, you are set.
This program will not be available on your station's livestream on PBS.org or the PBS App.
If your local PBS station offers a PBS KIDS channel, this program will air on that channel. Once again, if you access PBS KIDS through one of your local cable companies (or YouTube TV), you are all set. Just tune in on December 13 at 7:30 / 6:30C PM. Likewise, if you get PBS KIDS over the air with an antenna, you are set.
Please note that this program will not be available on pbskids.org or the PBS KIDS Video App.
The classic holiday Peanuts special will also stream ad-free and in HD on Apple TV+. It will be available to enjoy for free from December 11 through December 13.
It's December, and that means decorations, good food and fun. To help you make the best of the holiday season, we've rounded up some of your (and our) favorite PBS programs to bring back for a limited time. Learn more.
