Physical Description: Stocky with gray, cinnamon or dark brown pelage, bushy tail and white-tipped guard hairs

Length: 1.4-2.2 feet

Weight: 4.4-13.2 pounds

Diet: Grasses and seeds of grasses, flowers and acorns

Habitat: Found throughout the eastern U.S. like New England, as well as Alaska and Canada.
