PBS Educator Recognition Programs

PBS LearningMedia TEACHER AMBASSADORS

The PBS LearningMedia Teacher Ambassador program is a cohort of 12 social studies educators who have been recognized for their expertise and passion for bringing history to life for students in upper elementary through high school. In 2026, these  Teacher Ambassadors will showcase how they seamlessly integrate PBS LearningMedia social studies resources into their teaching, and inspire their students to engage with media in responsible, effective, and meaningful ways. During this historic Semiquincentennial, commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence, PBS LearningMedia Teacher Ambassadors will connect with their peers, school leadership, local PBS member stations, and other education community organizations to help bring renewed awareness and understanding of our shared history and spark civic conversation and engagement.

PBS DIGITAL INNOVATOR ALL-STARS

The PBS Digital Innovator All Star program brings together a community of PreK-12th grade educators who are hometown thought-leaders and classroom changemakers. All Stars are characterized by their ability to seamlessly integrate media and digital technology into their learning environments, inspiring students to use media and emerging technologies in responsible, effective, and empowering ways.

PBS KIDS EARLY LEARNING CHAMPIONS

PBS KIDS Early Learning Champions are committed, talented early education professionals who work with young children (infants to third graders) and their families. Champions work in a diversity of learning environments: some are certified Pre-K, Head Start and early elementary teachers, others are childcare providers in centers and programs, and still others are librarians, museum educators, or family, friends, and neighbors who offer care in their homes.
