Tafelberg Tepui: Sanctuary for the Vulnerable

South America’s Guiana Shield is home to a chain of tabletop mountains known locally as Tepuis. Completely isolated from the surrounding forest, Tepuis are renowned for their endemic species. Cut off for millions of years, the flora and fauna that lives here has evolved into entirely new species.
