About the filmmaker(s)
Ben is a writer, director, and editor of videos of all kinds. He has made short films, music videos, and more comedy series episodes and sketches than you'd likely agree to watch without a bathroom break.
His short film Flytrap was an Official Selection at the Maryland International Film Festival, the Rehoboth Beach Film Festival, the Asheville Cinema Festival and the Seattle True Independent Film Festival. His short Beacon was an Official Selection at The Maryland Film Festival, The Crown Heights Film Festival, Fandependent Films, Reel13 Shorts, the New York No Limits Film Series and was a Daily Pick on FilmShortage.com.
Ben is the co-creator, writer and director of the comedy web series The Pioneers, which won Best Writing at the Brooklyn Web Fest, was nominated for “Best Comedy” at the Indie Series Awards 2017 and was selected for Network Notes at the Independent Television and Film Festival. His script for Fake Harry, co-written with Ted Day, was a finalist for the David Ross Fetzer Foundation.
Ben is currently developing a feature horror/comedy screenplay and a pilot for a comedic anthology series.
