The future is an endless universe of possibilities. But for recent high school graduate Luna, the future is not so clear. Stuck in a job with no decision on a college major, Luna explores opportunities for herself both personally and professionally by just moving forward. 

About the filmmaker(s)

Carla Dauden is a Brazilian director based in Los Angeles. She has directed commercials, music videos, short films and documentaries, having screened her work at festivals including the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Short Shorts Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Los Angeles Music Video Festival and others. In 2013, Dauden’s video about the social and political issues behind the organization of the World Cup in Brazil went viral with over 5 million views. She was nominated for the Wharton University Social Media Leadership Awards and has been featured on BBC, Al Jazeera and The Guardian. Dauden has worked with production companies and clients in the commercial and documentary world including Sony Music International, Johnnie Walker (Diageo), Perricone and others. In 2018, Dauden was selected by NALIP’s Latino Lens Incubator with her script for the short film “The Jump,” and recently wrapped principal photography for her first feature documentary “The Hosts.”
