What Can You Do?
It’s easy to forget that if you have little time or can’t muster the energy to volunteer for an afternoon, a monetary donation to a food bank or organization goes a long way. As the story above indicates, it doesn’t have to be an exorbitant amount either. Research a local or national organization that strikes a chord with you. It could be towards actual food purchasing or the organization’s upkeep, either way, you are contributing towards feeding people who need meals.
