Meet the Bakers: Flora

Flora lives at home with her parents and her two younger sisters. Avoiding the pubs and clubs that her peers might be enjoying, Flora chooses to spend her time reading, drawing, painting and practicing ballet.

Flora loves her baking to look perfect and will spend hours preening in order to get the look she wants. She researches to find the latest techniques and ingredients, and living in the isolated Scottish countryside, she orders online and stocks up on things like lavender essence so she’s always ready. Flora has recently started to practice patisserie, which caters to her strength of liking everything detailed and defined. She regularly makes bread and loaves to stock in the freezer, but doesn’t have much experience with flavoring breads.
