Meet Mark and Denise Beyers
After falling in love, Mark and Denise joined the Marines together. Mark was sent oversees to fight in Iraq, while Denise put in her time stateside.
Soon after his deployment, Mark lost his right arm and leg in an IED explosion.
After months of recovery at Walter Reed and in New York, he returned home near where he grew up and decided to start a farm.

Mark and Denise currently have a 15-acre ranch where they farm maple trees for syrup, raise turkeys and chickens, and sell both eggs and honey with the help of their growing family.
