Yield: 1 large smoothie


  • 1 banana, frozen (about 125 grams)
  • 4 dates, pitted (about 50 grams)
  • 1 cup soymilk
  • 1 tablespoon tahini


  1. Put everything in a blender and puree until smooth.


You'll need a high speed blender like a Vitamix if you want to make it completely smooth, but the little bits of dates that remain when using a conventional blender will not ruin the flavor.
