Get Involved

A fascinating look at the pivotal 1977 National Women’s Conference, SISTERS OF ’77 offers a window into not only the history of the women’s movement in America, but also the future of women’s rights.

The ITVS Community Connections Project is partnering with national organizations in a community engagement campaign that reaches out to college and high school students of gender studies, political science and history; organizations that help develop young women leaders; and groups that promote equal rights, reproductive freedom, lesbian and minority women’s rights and democracy in action. The campaign aims to educate audiences on the history of feminism and social change for women, and provides policy makers and corporate organizations with tools to support girls’ leadership, human rights and women’s issues.
