We took advantage of our summer hiatus to do a site refresh and provide you with faster, better and more comprehensive access to all things Indie Lens. Here\u2019s what you can expect:<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Optimized for mobile<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The site is now fully compatible with your preferred device. Whether you reach us via desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone, you\u2019ll find quick and easy access to <i>Independent Lens<\/i> videos, features, and schedule information. It\u2019s also simpler to comment on and share our work. Keep an eye out for online screenings you can join anywhere!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Blog<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Throughout the season, we\u2019ll be rolling out new columns from guest writers to provide thoughtful voices on both indie docs and the wider world of cinema. We\u2019ll of course keep you updated on the characters you meet in our films, and we\u2019ll continue to provide a look behind the scenes with in-depth Q&amp;A sessions with our filmmakers. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">We couldn\u2019t have flipped the switch at a better time; our fourteenth season kicks off October 20 with a co-presentation with FRONTLINE\u00a0of <i>Immigration Battle<\/i>, continues on November 9 with acclaimed director Debra Granik\u2019s <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/independentlens\/films\/stray-dog\/\">Stray Dog<\/a><\/i>, followed by the powerful and controversial <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/independentlens\/films\/indias-daughter\/\">India\u2019s Daughter<\/a><\/i>, the heartbreaking <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/independentlens\/films\/mimi-and-dona\/\">Mimi and Dona<\/a><\/i>, and the urgent <i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/independentlens\/films\/east-of-salinas\/\">East of Salinas<\/a><\/i>.
