In true v\u00e9rit\u00e9\u00a0format, <em>The Waiting Room<\/em> offers a non-partisan plea for a return to the care aspect of the discussion\u2014\u00a0from the millions of Americans who wind up in ERs annually, to the tireless, often fearless employees who provide care when it&#8217;s needed most.\u00a0And beyond his film, Nicks created an online <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whatruwaitingfor.com\/storytelling-project\/\" target=\"_blank\">storytelling project<\/a>, partnering with StoryCorps, to further share the personal side of this debate.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>You can share your own voice on <strong>Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 10pm ET\/7pm PT<\/strong> when the filmmaker himself will host a <a href=\"https:\/\/ovee.itvs.org\/screenings\/33jrl\" target=\"_blank\">live national screening of the film along with a live chat<\/a>, via <a href=\"https:\/\/ovee.itvs.org\/screenings\/33jrl\" target=\"_blank\">OVEE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Watch the film on PBS on Monday, but join in again on Tuesday to share your story and offer your thoughts to Peter Nicks.
