Cafe Mahogany Tuesday Night Poetry

Every Tuesday, Detroit coffeehouse 'Cafe Mahogany' hosts poetry night, with introductions by poet "Fluent," and music by DJ Carl "The Invisible Man." Featuring some of the best poets and live talent in the Motor City, 'Cafe Mahogany' offers young people a chance to express their views, share their verse, and tell their stories.

	You want to have a great time, you're gonna hear the greatest poets in the world, you're at Cafe Mahogany, this is downtown Detroit in the middle of beautiful Harmony Park.

	I would like you to do a drum solo, like you know, to introduce me, to warm me so I can feel the energy coming off of the drum, and I'll catch you into my piece. How about that? Yeah! Some energy!
