Melissa Leo

Best known for her Oscar-winning performance in David O. Russell’s THE FIGHTER, Melissa Leo has a legendary career in both Film and Television.

On the Feature side, she recently starred in Venice hit KING IVORY opposite Ben Foster, marking yet another collaboration with John Swab, + Mark Duplass and Nnamdi Asomugha’s THE KNIFE.

She will next be seen in Horror Maestro André Øvredal’s Paramount feature PASSENGER. Melissa also just wrapped a pivotal supporting lead opposite Shia LeBouf and Jackson White in THE ROOSTER PRINCE, from Joshua Penn Soskin & Lije Sarki.

Select credits include her Oscar-nominated turn in FROZEN RIVER, Denis Villeneuve’s PRISONERS opposite Hugh Jackman & Jake Gyllenhaal, Antoine Fuqua’s THE EQUALIZER opposite Denzel Washington, Maggie Bett’s NOVITIATE with Margaret Qualley.

In TV, she won an Emmy for her performance in LOUIE on FX, and received nominations for MILDRED PIERCE and ALL THE WAY, both for HBO. She recently appeared in HBO/Derek Cianfrance’s I KNOW THIS MUCH IS TRUE alongside Mark Ruffalo, and was the lead in Showtime’s I’M DYING UP HERE from Jim Carrey.
