With her debut studio album, Remember Her Name<\/em>, Mickey made history as the first Black female artist to earn a GRAMMY nomination in the country music sector with nominations for \u201cBest Country Album.\u201d \u201cBest Country Song,\u201d and \u201cBest Country Solo Performance.\u201d Additionally, she became the first-ever Black female country artist to perform at the GRAMMYs. The accolades paved the way for Mickey to be named TIME Magazine\u2019s Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2022 and CMT\u2019s Breakout Artist of the Year in 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n At the top of 2026, Mickey toured China after growing a passionate fanbase there stemming from her time in China during the summer of 2025, where she starred in the country\u2019s most competitive music show called \u201cThe Singer,\u201d where she made history as the first American artist to place as runner-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to expanding her fanbase internationally in 2025, Mickey released her first full-length holiday album, Feels Like Christmas,<\/em> which the Associated Press highlighted as one of the best new holiday releases for the year.
