How Do We Stop Another School Shooting?

In the aftermath of the mass shooting at the Sandy Hook School in Newtown, Conn. people around the U.S. mourned the 20 children and 7 adults whose lives were cut short, and asked "how can we prevent this from happening again?" Universal background checks, armed officers in schools and changes to the country's mental health system are all ideas being floated as the nation searches for solutions to gun-related violence. The NewsHour asked students from the 45 schools participating in its Student Reporting Labs about ways to prevent the next school shooting.
