Exploring Race Relations 40 Years After "Remember the Titans"

T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Va., is best known as the school featured in "Remember the Titans", a 2000 film that followed the true story of the school's football team as it went through racial integration in the 1970s. T.C. Williams is now home to a racially and economically diverse student body, but have race relations really gotten better in the 40 years since desegregation? Journalism students from T.C. who participate in the PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs program decided to ask their peers about their experiences with race inside and outside the classroom.
