Journalism students from
Ithaca College
came to Washington, D.C., to cover the events of the 50th anniversary of the landmark March on Washington. Throughout the day, they spoke with young people and original march-goers on the Mall, trying to determine where we are as a country 50 years after Martin Luther King's "dream".
Participants in the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington respond to President Obama's speech and share thoughts about moving forward from the country's past.
Audience members from across the globe and of all ages came out to hear President Obama and other speakers' call to action on equality and freedom.
