Life is tough at the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. This expanse of desert, which was not populated a year ago, is now home to over 120,000 Syrians fleeing the civil war in their home country, and becoming more populated by the day. Children make up roughly half of the camp's population, making quality food and educational resources even more important. The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has been working in the Zaatari camp to provide rations like bread, lentils, sugar and salt.
