How are people coping with their Twitter being turned off in Turkey? PBS NewsHour's Hari Sreenivasan spoke with a 16 year old in Istanbul who admits it has become more difficult but he has found a way around it, as have many of his peers.

has been “trending” over the past couple of days despite a significant push by the Turkish Prime Minister to block the social media service. He has also threatened to block other social media including Facebook and YouTube, possibly to stem videos and audio clippings that critics say are proof of his administration's corruption.
Yahya Ozel, a 16-year-old tech-savvy Turkish citizen who has found ways to circumvent the Internet limits, said, “Twitter is the only mass medium that we can get unbiased news from, it’s a significant part of our lives... It’s one of the few places where we have our freedom of speech."
