Headhunter Nick Corcodilos got his start in 1979 in California’s Silicon Valley. It was the beginning of the tech boom that would define the region, and a time when top companies — Xerox, Apple, Hewlett-Packard — needed the best talent possible.
Corcodilos is still a professional business recruiter and brings his experiences to the website with his “Ask the Headhunter” columns on the PBS NewsHour, among other outlets. He recently has written about whether job seekers should tell personal stories during interviews and how companies might treat out-of-work applicants.
Corcodilos (@nickcorcodilos) joined the PBS NewsHour (@NewsHour) on Twitter to share his insights on whether applicants still need a resume to get hired, why they might get rejected from a job and other related matters. Follow our completed Twitter chat below.
