When classrooms and after school programs participate in the Student Voice feature, contests or other content opportunities, all participants must have a student release form signed by a parent or legal guardian. Parents or legal guardians may contact us to review that release form and request that NewsHour Extra stop collecting information and have it deleted. Such requests are subject to NewsHour Extra verifying to our satisfaction that the requester is in fact the child’s parent or legal guardian.
THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND EXTERNAL LINKS
If you access third-party services, such as Facebook, Google, or Twitter, through the website to share information about your experience on NewsHour Extra with your friends and other connections, those third-party services may be able to collect information about you, including information about your activity on NewsHour Extra, and they may notify your connections about your use of our site, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
