the end of the Reform Party's nominating convention, the party had split
into two factions. Each faction has declared its own nominee who claims
to be the Reform party's official presidential candidate: Patrick J.
Buchanan and John Hagelin. Pat Buchanan was born Nov. 2, 1938 in Washington D.C. He received his master's
degree in journalism from Columbia in 1962. He has twice been a candidate

9, 1954 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He received his master's and doctorate
from Harvard University in Quantum Physics and spent nearly 20 years
as a research scientist. He is a follower of Indian guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He is currently Director of the Institute of Science, Technology and Public Policy, and Professor of Physics and Director of the Doctoral Program in Physics at Maharishi University of Management. |
