Q: Where did his commitment come from? Why did he work so hard to try to achieve his goals?

A: There was something very deep inside of him, I think. It was sort of a spiritual core. He wasn't a religious person per se, he did believe in God but I think, he felt he had been specially chosen. He never said it. It was just that you sensed it. He had something to do in this world that was very, very important and he had been given the ability and the opportunity to do it and he had to do it.
