Women’s suffrage in Minnesota is 100+ years in the making but the fight to vote continues.

In Minnesota, women have long sought equality, including the right to vote. Minnesota women were the first to vote under the 19th Amendment, and obstacles prohibiting many women of color from voting have been abolished. But the fight for suffrage and equality continues.
