Composed for 4 trumpets, Woodbury Fanfare was completed in 1959 for the Woodbury, Connecticut 1959 Tercentenary celebration. It is 55 seconds long. Woodbury Fanfare was first performed on July 4, 1959 by the Governor's Footguard Band as an introduction to a "Pageant of Ancient Woodbury". It was first recorded by the composer on in analog stereo sound during a 1959 recording session in New York City. This recording has not been released.
