Think Tank travels to Colorado Springs, the site of a recent conference hosted by the Center for the New West. There we examine the opportunities and the challenges faced by America’s fastest growing region: the Pacific Northwest and the Rocky Mountain and desert states. Population growth and economic development coupled with the strains of “suburban sprawl” and increased demands on the area’s natural resources help to paint a complex picture for the future of this up-and-coming region.
