Heather White

Heather White is the Executive Director of Environmental Working Group (EWG) and is a nationally-recognized expert on federal environmental law and policy. She is also a campaign strategist with over 15 years of experience.
She has testified before Congress, briefed top Congressional staff and met with senior White House officials on a wide range of issues, including toxic chemical pollution, water quality, energy policy, food safety and farm bill reform.
Heather serves on the board of directors and leads legislative activities of EWG Action Fund and the Sewall-Belmont House & Museum. She also is an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University Law Center.
She recently released her book, One Green Thing, Discover Your Hidden Power to Help Save the Planet.
