Former Governor Ryan Details Decision in New Book

Years before, Gov. Ryan reignited the national debate on capital punishment when he declared a moratorium on the state's death penalty. His own career ended with political corruption convictions, but Ryan is expounding on the death penalty in a new book with co-author Maurice Possley called "Until I Could Be Sure: How I stopped the Death Penalty in Illinois."
