Founded six years ago to help children with HIV/AIDS in Ukraine, Hope for Ukraine went on to support a range of projects in Ukraine. Yuriy Boyechko, president of the organization, said, "And when this conflict broke out, it just took a different meaning. It’s something that we’ve been doing on a part-time once in a while situation. Now it’s taken over our lives nonstop."
