Remembering Shimon Peres and pursuit of Middle East peace

As President Obama and other world leaders attend the funeral of former Israeli President and Prime Minister Shimon Peres, we look back at one of Peres' biggest pursuits during his decades-long career: Middle East Peace. As foreign minister in 1993, Peres secretly negotatied with the Palestinians to broker a peace treaty in the ongoing conflict. Peres' efforts won him the Nobel Peace Prize.
