The Vietnam War forced Nguyen
Duy Binh to grow up fast. At age 13, Binh took
a job with the U.S. military to support his family
and quickly made friends with the troops there.
He fled Vietnam just before the fall of Saigon
and began life anew in the United States. Twenty
years later, the FedEx executive and father of
four seemed to have it all - but he ached for
his homeland. With a good head for business and
a desire to give back to the country he carried
in his heart, Binh devised a plan to bring FedEx
to Vietnam.
