Whatever or however you think commonunity mean, it is very important to an individual freedom and happiness. Im my culture to help yourself - family or the clan come first in my cutlure after that will be your personal need. We have a custom that what material you gained, especially food. must be share with your relatives or neigbhors. Even if it is a small amount, but you need to share it what so ever. This an opposite view of American personal need come first. This is a real tradition: Material and money collectiveness is share amount the family member.
