In 1910 we found a rapid evolution had taken place, what one might call his second modern style or his second Prairie Style of architecture, which is very different than his earlier style. So in a sense, at a point in which Wright had finished with one phase of his career but seemed to not know which direction the career was about to take, Griffin was just finding his truly important phase of his career.
