March 20, 2003: The Iraq war begins with airstrikes in Baghdad. The following day massive aerial bombardment of targets throughout the country begins. Footage of the "shock and awe" campaign is carried live across the world, thanks to unmanned cameras mounted on Baghdad rooftops.
