This week on Washington Week: Political warfare and impeachment
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is ratcheting up her criticism of President Donald Trump after he cut short a bipartisan infrastructure meeting and declared that as long as the House was investigating him, there would be no legislation.
Pelosi accused the president of wanting Democrats to begin impeachment proceedings as a means to distract the public from recent court decisions that favor Democrats seeking financial records and other information from the administration. Plus, a preview of President Trump's trip to Tokyo and efforts to end the trade dispute between the U.S.and Japan.
