Susan has covered six White House administrations and ten presidential elections. She has interviewed the past nine presidents -- from Richard Nixon through Donald Trump — and reported from six continents and dozens of foreign countries.
Her new book, The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of an American Dynasty, was published on April 2 by Twelve.
She is married to Carl Leubsdorf of The Dallas Morning News; they have two sons.
