What did you think of today's challenge?

Today's challenge was nerve-racking. I enjoyed the experience of not knowing what was going on.

What did you prepare today?

Three dishes: curry duck, barbecue shrimp, and psuedo jambalaya

How do you think you did? Is there anything you wish you'd done better?

Overall I think I did pretty well. I wish I could have found the rice for my jambalaya.

What was the highlight of the day's events?

The highlights of today's events was the 86 list and being able to use my mise en place.

Are there any lessons you took away from today?

Being creative and being able to open my mind to different tastes and flavors.

What was the most constructive or interesting piece of feedback you heard from the judges?

The boldness of my multiple flavors.

How do you think you are doing in relation to your fellow competitors?

So far so good — I seem to be holding my own.

Who do you think is faring the best and why?

Katsuji and Matt — their confidence and new-age cooking cuisine is appealing to the judges.

What do you think your fellow competitors think of you?

I think they find me as no challenge. They don't know what I can or will bring to the table.
