 Culture Shock at Borders Books & Music: January 2000 WGBH and Borders Books & Music are proud to announce a unique outreach collaboration around Culture Shock at all Borders locations nationwide. Throughout January 2000 each Borders location will feature a Culture Shock book display highlighting the series' themes of freedom of expression, the role of arts in society, cultural values, and cultural wars across the disciplines of literature, film, music, and painting. Culture Shock-related activities, readings, and performances will be occurring throughout January and February at various Borders locations. Ask your local Borders Community Relations Coordinator if activities are being planned in your area. |
